About KinoCalendar
What is KinoCalendar?
KinoCalendar is a movie showtime aggregator for your local theaters. Instead of checking each theater's website individually, KinoCalendar brings all the showtimes together in one place so you can find what's playing across the city at a glance.
Features
- Search — quickly find movies playing across all theaters
- Discover — a curated homepage of what's worth catching: films on 35mm & 70mm, one-night-only screenings, repertory revivals returning to the big screen, and just-added titles
- See it on film — when a marquee release is shot on film, a homepage guide ranks where to catch it in each film format (IMAX 70mm, 70mm, 35mm), soonest showtime first; tap a format to open the movie's showtimes already filtered to that format
- Playing Today — everything on screens today on a single timeline, with a heads-up on what's starting soon
- Near Me — filter showtimes to theaters within a chosen distance of your location
- Sign in — save your lists, watchlist, saved showtimes, and favorite theaters to your account so they sync across your devices; signing in also unlocks the weekly digest
- Letterboxd Import — import a Letterboxd watchlist and public lists by username to see what's showing
- List Builder — search the full movie catalog to build a custom list, then save it to your lists — you'll get a heads-up in the weekly digest when a movie you've added starts playing
- iPhone Shortcut — from a Letterboxd film, jump straight to its showtimes near you (add the shortcut)
- Watchlists — save movies to keep track of what you want to see
- My Theaters — filter showtimes to just the theaters you care about
- Calendar Browsing — browse showtimes by date to plan your week
- Weekly Digest Email — opt in on the My Lists page to get a Wednesday-morning email when movies from your saved lists are playing this week, grouped so the rare stuff comes first: one-night-only screenings, then repertory revivals, then everything else
